12 May 2014 - The £460 million Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT), managed by SWIP now part of Aberdeen Asset Management, is pleased to announce that Senator International Freight Forwarding Limited, an international freight, logistics and NVOCC1 operator, has taken a prime warehouse of 11,000 sq ft at its Airport Gate estate at London Heathrow.   Unit 7 is a warehouse of 11,000 sq ft in a strategic location to the immediate north of Heathrow airport. The hub is situated on the Bath Road, and links with the airport’s Northern Perimeter Road. The busy estate comprises modern warehouse units totalling 140,000 sq ft across seven units. Its core attribute is its excellent connectivity with Heathrow's Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and is two miles from the Heathrow Cargo Terminal. It also offers quick access to the M4 and M25 providing extensive nationwide transport coverage.   Senator International Freight Forwarding Limited joins a fully let airport focused park which comprises Alpha Catering Group and Menzies Express Baggage Services.   Senator International Freight Forwarding Limited will be operating an extensive air freight and express operation dedicated to the airport and West London and will directly link with its Manchester branch.
