Honolulu, HI – Aug. 27, 2013 – Approved Freight Forwarders, the only freight forwarder operating in Hawai‘i that has operations statewide, announces its move from its Santa Fe Springs terminal to a larger location in the City of Industry, California, reflecting the company’s growth and expanding horizons.

Approved Freight Forwarders now occupies a much larger facility at 14777 Don Julian Rd., City of Industry, Calif.

The new facility has container storage for over 150 containers, allowing the company flexibility to accommodate all types of less-than-container loads (LCL), full container loads (FCL), oversized freight and flat racks.

“This new facility enhances our ability to offer value added services to all of our customers as we strengthen and expand our chain of services that links the Mainland United States to Hawai‘i and Guam,” says Randall Tutor, vice president and general manager of Approved Freight Forwarders. “We will continue to invest in people, technology, equipment and facilities for our valued customers.”

For more than eight years, Approved Freight Forwarders has partnered with sister company Royal Hawaiian Movers, which provides complete westbound deconsolidation and delivery to all islands as well as pickup and forwarding servcies for eastboud shipments. There are dedicated Approved Freight Forwarders personnel on site at every Royal Hawaiian Movers location, to ensure that freight is moved seemlessly, without the use of a third-party agent.

Approved Freight Forwarders’ supply chain service also eliminates up to three days in the shipping timeline. This is all made possible by leveraging the Dewitt Companies’ unique chain of services across the Pacific, from Guam (Dewitt Moving & Storage), through Hawaii (Royal Hawaiian Movers), to California (Approved Freight Forwarders).
