CEVA signs three year partnership with Hankook Tire Italy
Logistics operator reinforces leading position in Automotive sector
Milan, Italy, 19 March 2012 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, has signed a three year agreement with Hankook Tire Italy, a leading global tire manufacturer.
CEVA will manage the storage, distribution and reverse logistics for the customer’s tires at its hub in Somaglia, near Lodi, Italy, within a dedicated area of 6,000 sq m. From this site, CEVA will distribute automobile, light truck and truck tires across northern Italy and will manage a shuttle service to Hankook Tire’s main warehouse in Rome which serves the central and southern areas of Italy. CEVA will handle 500,000 pieces across 400 product lines each year, using two incoming and several outgoing vehicles each day to reach dealers and retailers in the north of the country as well as Hankook’s site in Rome. CEVA will also manage reverse logistics for Hankook tires, guaranteeing the highest efficiency and punctuality in the collection of returns.

This partnership further consolidates CEVA’s presence in the Automotive sector, in particular the tire segment. CEVA signs a five year agreement with FORUM SPORT
Madrid, Spain, 16 March, 2012 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, has signed a five year contract with FORUM SPORT, a specialist retailer of sports clothing and equipments. CEVA will manage FORUM SPORT’s 18,000 products and will prepare an average of 10,000 orders each year for delivery to the customer’s stores and consumers’ homes.
FORUM SPORT sells its products through its own stores as well as online and has entrusted CEVA with the management of all its logistics activities. CEVA is responsible for inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse management, shipment preparation and reverse logistics within FORUM SPORT’s 6,000 sq m warehouse located in Basauri, close to Bilbao and their newly opened 13,000 sq m automated warehouse in Jundiz Business Park, in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. In order to manage growth in demand, FORUM SPORT has invested in expanding its warehousing capacity to better serve its customers in Iberia.

CEVA opens new multi-user facility in Southern California
Masco Corporation signs on as first customer in facility, expanding CEVA’s footprint within Consumer and Retail goods industry
Houston, Texas USA, 15 March, 2012 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, today announced that it has acquired a 42,735 sq m (460,000 sq ft) facility in Southern California. Masco Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of brand-name consumer products for the home and family, has signed a multi-year contract as the first customer in the facility.
The facility is strategically located within three miles of the Ontario airport and one mile of major interstate arteries, making it an ideal hub for west coast distribution. It can currently handle 300 trailers with its 50 doors and there are plans for expansion. The facility is equipped with multi-tier pick modules and automated sortation to help maximize order processing efficiency.
Multi-user facilities are part of CEVA’s commitment to bringing best in class supply chain solutions to the market. The sites deliver tangible benefits to customers’ logistics operations, through economies of scale, shared overheads and focused supply chain expertise for their sector. As the first customer at this facility, Masco Corporation has signed a multi-year contract with CEVA to manage west coast distribution and logistics services for several Masco subsidiaries in the USA.
