Madrid, Spain, 21st January 2014 – Conqueror Freight Network, the world’s only truly city exclusive freight forwarder network has started 2014 with a face-lift to its website   “When I first set up Conqueror, I knew that the website was crucial, despite many of our competitors failing in this area.  I wanted Conqueror to be different, so we have spent a long time ensuring our website serves our members and the wider public well, being updated on a weekly basis. But it was time for a change, so in addition to the design we have also added some new sections to our website,” explained Managing Director, Antonio Torres.

Visitors to the re-vamped site are greeted with an easy to navigate homepage in a contemporary design. “In addition to the re-design, we have also added some extra elements including, a ‘Reference’ Section which contains an industry glossary of terms and useful links as well as listing the industry exhibitions Conqueror is present at,” said Antonio Torres.

January 2014 is a proving to be a month of celebrations, as well as the re-launch of the Conqueror website, it is the network’s 3rd anniversary and they have covered their 200th city. “Covering our 200th city is a significant milestone for the network. With only 1/10 applications’ passing our external audit, the process of finding the best companies is not as easy it may sound,” explained Mr Torres, “However it is crucial to our long-term stability and success.”

The network’s 3rd Annual Meeting is being held in Kuala Lumpur this May and expectations are high. “Last year we experienced a 33% increase in attendance on our first meeting and we believe we can do the same this year. All our members understand the importance of meeting face to face and are committed to attending where possible, this is quite a network owner’s dream,” emphasised Antonio Torres. Currently the network has coverage in 202 cities in 99 countries and employs around 17,000 people. Conqueror is a member of ELITE, the industry's only recognized grouping of quality independent freight forwarder networks, representing over 3,550 companies with annual revenues in excess of US$60 billion.
