Joliet, IL – January 22, 2013 – Cygnal TLC, an internationally respected incentive compensation consulting firm has changed its name to Prosperio Group. Prosperio Group will be headed by Beth Carroll, the founding member of Cygnal TLC, a former owner of The Cygnal Group, and a former Managing Consultant with Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson).
Carroll explained the rebranding, “This is the next evolutionary step to becoming the preeminent HR consulting firm serving the transportation and logistics industry. Over the last five years, we have learned that transportation and logistics companies have many roles that are essential to the profitable growth of the business that go beyond traditional selling roles. These roles include load planners, purchased transportation buyers, warehouse workers, customer service reps and drivers. By rebranding our company, we are free to develop in the way that is most beneficial to the needs of this dynamic industry that we have chosen to serve.”
Carroll explained that the focus on transportation and logistics consulting has led to a 70% growth in revenue from 2010 to 2012 and she expects the increase in target marketing and plans for additional product and service offerings to generate an additional 40% to 50% growth in revenue in 2013.
Prosperio Group will operate initially with three divisions. Prosperio TLC, Prosperio SCC and Prosperio CSD. Prosperio TLC, the largest division, will focus on human resources and management consulting for the transportation and logistics industry, providing services such as business objective clarification, organization design and role clarification for improved efficiency, salary band and career ladder development and the development of economically sound incentive compensation plans to drive profitable growth. In addition, through a partnership with Performance Center, an Australian software company, Prosperio TLC will offer the only automated incentive management software solution that is custom tailored to the complex needs of this dynamic industry.
Prosperio SCC will provide traditional sales compensation consulting services for companies outside of the transportation and logistics industry, and Prosperio CSD will provide custom survey development and administration for trade associations and private companies seeking to gain a better insight into the compensation and benefits practices of their peers. The Prosperio CSD division will continue to manage the Measure-Up™ North American Freight Broker Survey, sponsored by the TIA, which was launched in 2012 and provides the only online compensation survey focused exclusively on 3PLs. In 2013, this survey will be expanded to include freight forwarder and customs broker positions, with data becoming available for countries outside of North America later in the year. Additional modules are in development for trucking and warehousing jobs.
Prosperio Group will be exhibiting at the ACA Conference in Las Vegas from March 10-12, the TIA Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas from April 10-13 and the TMSA Annual Conference and Expo in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida from June 9-11. Beth Carroll and Ann Pollock, a Prosperio Group consultant, are speakers at the TIA Convention and Trade Show, with Beth leading a day-long pre-conference seminar on “Organization Structures and Compensation Plans to Fuel Profitable Growth.”
