Serial entrepreneur brings vision and corporate leadership to growing company
(DALLAS) – Entercoms, Inc. (Entercoms), an aftermarket supply chain service provider for global companies, announced today the appointment of Arjun Malhotra to its board of directors. Co-founder of the HCL group, one of India’s largest technology companies, Malhotra is a proven business leader and lifelong entrepreneur. He was most recently chairman and CEO of Headstrong, leading a turnaround that culminated in the company’s sale to Genpact.

Malhotra is on the Board of Governors for prestigious institutions including: the IIT Foundation of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur; Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong; IIM, Udaipur; Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIIT&M), Gwalior; and the Doon School, Dehradun. In addition, he founded the Prof. G.S. Sanyal School of Telecommunications at IIT, Kharagpur.

Malhotra holds a Bachelor of Technology with honors in electronics and electrical communication engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and earned the Dr. B.C. Roy Gold Medal. He was honored with a doctor’s of science degree (honoris causa) and named Life Fellow of IIT, Kharagpur. Malhotra also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
