WESTERVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 30, 2013) – Exel, the North American leader in supply chain management and a Deutsche Post DHL company, and Borderfree, the market leader in global ecommerce solutions, today announced the opening of a 20,000 square foot distribution warehouse in Romulus, Mich. The new warehouse will be used to process international parcels for Canadian customers and is expected to generate more than 50 new jobs for the Romulus community. The facility officially opened on August 7, 2013.

Many of the world’s top brands, such as Gilt, Macy’s, Party City, Saks Fifth Avenue and Sephora use Borderfree’s technology and services platform to facilitate transactions with customers in more than 100 countries and territories and in more than 60 currencies.

Exel has been Borderfree’s logistics partner in Lockbourne, Ohio, since September 2010, enabling the company to successfully orchestrate logistics and seamlessly providing Borderfree with the agility and flexibility it needs to continue to grow the business.
