16 April 2014 - Global freight management company Geodis Wilson has announced the appointment of Ashwani Nath as Global Vertical Market Director for the company’s Fashion & Lifestyle, Retail segments.
Ashwani will be based in Amsterdam in The Netherlands, from where he will lead the business development of one of Geodis Wilson’s strongest segments. Transport and supply chain solutions for the fashion and retail industries have become an increasingly important market for the freight forwarding division of the Geodis Group which is providing logistics services to a wide range of leading fashion labels and retail chains worldwide. Ashwani Nath brings a solid experience of 29 years of working at senior management positions in some of the largest transport companies in this sector.

Ashwani Nath has an Economic Honors Degree and an MBA. He joins Geodis Wilson from DHL Global Forwarding where he was till recently, Head of the Retail Sector for EMEA based in Milan, Italy. Previous roles have included senior positions at MSAS Global Logistics, EXEL Plc, LEP, Kamino International and Forbes Gokak Ltd.
