Jersey City, June 11, 2012 – Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world’s leading global logistics providers, has announced its academic partnership with Rutgers University’s Department of Supply Chain Management and Marketing Science. The program coined as the Rutgers University Student Corporate Academic Partnership (RUSCAP), is designed to help foster students’ careers in logistics.
The partnership comprises a commitment to students and Rutgers University, defining a focused curriculum which melds the students interests with specific industry needs confronted by logistics managers practicing the discipline. At the completion of the third year of studies, students will enter a comprehensive summer co-op program with Kuehne + Nagel to match the focus of their final year curriculum. The goal is for graduates to enter the work force possessing leading knowledge regarding logistics principles and concepts.

As a Rutgers University partner, Kuehne + Nagel will also take part in research projects, provide guest lecturers and key note speakers.
