PD Ports Announces Two New Management Roles

E-mail

LONDON, 27 May 2010 – PD Ports has recently announced the appointment of Jan Loland as Group IT development manager and Lynsey Pickering as Teesport’s business continuity manager.

Based at Teesport, Jan is responsible for managing IT projects across the PD Ports Group, as well as looking at solutions to further improve the Group’s current IT systems and procedures.  Prior to joining PD Ports, Norwegian born Jan worked as Group ERP manager for Dutch industrial services company, Hertel Holding.

Also based at Teesport is Lynsey Pickering, Teesport’s business continuity manager. In her new role, Lynsey is responsible for finalising the development of a robust system of plans, policies and procedures, which in the case of a disruption to the business, will ensure PD Ports is able to resume normal operations as quickly as possible and deliver continued excellence of service to its many customers at Teesport.

Lynsey has a long history in business continuity management, which she has built during her 18 year career with British Airways and most recently, Semcorp Utilities.
