CEVA will manage the main phases of the Philips supply chain in Italy
Milan, Italy, 10 December 2009 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has extended its collaboration with Philips in Italy for an additional three years. Philips is a world leader in the healthcare, lighting and consumer lifestyle sectors. CEVA will manage the main phases of Philips’ supply chain including the management of inbound and outbound goods, warehousing activities, transportation in Italy, and high value added processes.
The warehousing and transportation of Philips products will be managed in an integrated manner using advanced IT systems. The supply chain operator will set aside 20,000 m2 for the company in its Zingonia warehouse, in the province of Bergamo, where around 2.6 million boxes will be managed every year.
