Chapel Hill, NC, November 7, 2011:  The Cygnal Group, an internationally respected sales compensation consulting firm, announces the formation of Cygnal TLC.  Cygnal TLC will be headed by two of The Cygnal Group’s principals, Beth Carroll and Brenda Maldonado, and will focus exclusively on compensation consulting for the Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain industry.

Cygnal TLC’s principals have developed hundreds of incentive compensation plans for over 35 Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain companies in the last 4 years. Their clients range in size from $10 million to more than $10 billion in annual revenues and include trucking companies, intermodal carriers, brokers, international freight forwarders, warehouse providers, and outsourced freight management companies.

Carroll explained, “Over the last 4 years, we have learned that T&L companies have many roles that are essential to the profitable growth of the business that go beyond traditional selling roles.  These roles include load planners, purchased transportation buyers, and drivers.  By marrying our decades of sales compensation design expertise with our in-depth knowledge of this industry, we can help companies develop the best incentive plans to support their unique growth objectives.”

In addition to providing consulting services Cygnal TLC will provide salary survey data in the form of privately sponsored customized surveys and public subscription-based on-line databases with monthly updates, allowing companies the ability to filter data to the cuts that are most meaningful to their market and business.  Public surveys will be available for subscription starting in March 2012.

Cygnal TLC is exhibiting at The 2011 Intermodal Expo and Transcomp Exhibition, held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from November 13 – 15th.  If you plan on attending this event, please see us at Booth #446.
