TGLG-logoHong Kong, April 18, 2014 — As part of a succession plan, Trans Global Logistics (TGL) has named William Leakos, chief financial officer of its US operations.  Leakos, the former vice president audit of Kintetsu World Express , USA (KWE), will be responsible for accounting operations, finance and tax.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bill to our financial management group and to have him play a leadership role in the implementation of SunSystem, TGL’s enterprise accounting system and T-Core, the Group’s enterprise operations system for our operations in the USA where we currently have five offices,” says Donald C.L. Woo, president and CEO of Trans Global Logistics Group Ltd.  “Bill has a proven track record in accounting management and systems implementation, and we are delighted that he will head up this effort in the US business unit.”

Leakos was the vice president of audit for KWE from 1999-2014.  Prior to this assignment Bill held a variety of accounting management positions at KWE. Before joining KWE, Leakos was an internal auditor  for Hughes Aircraft Company headquartered in El Segundo, California.  Bill is a CPA and holds a US Customs broker license.  He is a graduate of the California State University, Northridge.
