Global Logistics System (HK) Co., Ltd (GLSHK) announces that Terry Lo, the company’s current Chief Operating Officer, will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 October 2012. Terry will take up the responsibilities of the present CEO, Lionel Kwok, who will be reassigned to Cathay Pacific Airways effective from the same date.
Mr Lo has accumulated a wealth of aviation experience since joining Dragonair more than 20 years ago. He held managerial positions in Dragonair in areas ranging from airline planning to revenue management and airport management. He was later promoted to head the carrier’s information management team. When Dragonair became part of the Cathay Pacific family in 2006, Mr Lo was put in charge of e-business strategies and solutions for the airlines’ employees. He was appointed COO of GLSHK in 2010.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Lo said: “It is a privilege to take up this new challenge. GLSHK’s work on e-freight development has been well recognized by the airfreight industry and I will continue to work closely with my team members to deliver value to our customers.”
