(Monday, June 22, 2009) Washington — U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the largest uniformed law enforcement agency in the country, has launched an intern program to attract exceptional men and women to
CBP. The agency seeks applicants with competencies that would prepare them for careers in analyzing and implementing public programs, along with diverse professional experience and successful academic training.
"Federal Career Intern Program Virtual Job Fair" is a two-year program designed to recruit, develop and retain a group of future leaders for CBP’s administrative functions. Selections for these positions are made at the
5, 7 and 9 grade levels, with most positions having promotion potential to the grade 12 level.
The 30-day intern recruiting opportunity will end on July 22.
