U.S. Customs and Border Protection is proud to announce that the 2009 Trade Symposium Webcast is scheduled for December 8 – 10, 2009. Webcasting registration for participation via the Internet in the CBP 2009 Trade Symposium opened on November 10, 2009, 12 noon eastern time.
Webcasting
This year, CBP will be unveiling a new capability for the international trade community to participate in the Trade Symposium. We are offering participation via a live Webcast on December 8-10, 2009, whereby participants may view and interactively participate in the Trade Symposium online.
The cost for the Trade Symposium participation via the live webcasting is $35.00 U.S. dollars. As an additional feature, participants who pay to attend the Trade Symposium onsite or purchase the live Webcast will also be provided with 30-day on-demand access via the Internet free of charge. All general sessions will be shown as part of the live Webcast. CBP has selected the following three breakout sessions that will be shown during the live Webcast:
- C-TPAT - Security Breach Preventive Measures Workshop
- Importer Security Filing/10+2
- ISA: Making the Grade for Self-Governance of Trade Compliance

Registration
1. Webcast Participation:
- The registration fee for participation via the web is $35.00 U.S. dollars. Payment must be made by credit card.
- The following link may be used to test the compatibility of your computer prior to the Webcast via the Internet. This link will allow you to test the audio and video on your computer and also provides a plug-in to download a program that will assist with viewing the CBP Trade Symposium Webcast. - After successfully registering for Webcast participation, you will receive a confirmation email from www.pay.gov.
- CBP will distribute login instructions for the live Webcast via email closer to the date of the event.
- The Webcast registration closed on December 7, 2009.
2. 30-Day On-Demand Access via the Internet:
- As an additional feature, all onsite attendees and Webcast participants will receive access to the complimentary 30-day on-demand access to the Webcast.
- Onsite attendees and Webcast participants may utilize the on-demand access feature multiple times throughout the 30-day time frame.
- CBP will distribute login instructions for the 30-day on-demand access via email.

Cancellation Policy
