Macau, September 7, 2010 - With 23 freight associations and alliances and three freight forwarding networks ‘The Freight Summit’ in Macau is expecting more than 600 delegates at the event which will be held at The Venetian, Macau, September 21st-26th.
The ‘open source’ event means that any independent freight forwarding group, association or network can attend without having to pay an annual membership fee. The major network groups co-hosting this year’s event include the Combined Logistics Networks, China Logistics Club and Amphion Logistics.
“The Freight Summit is designed so that as many independent freight forwarders as possible can meet and create potentially hundreds of business opportunities at one event. As we do not require membership to attend and we only invite freight professionals, the networking is very focused and means that every meeting potentially creates a business opportunity,” said Nils Walle, Director of RW Solutions organizers of The Freight Summit.
The Freight Summit will organize more than 200,000 meetings at its event in 2010 more than triple the number when compared to 2008.
Amphion Global Logistics will also be hosting its own AmhphiCONFERENCE at The Freight Summit and will be announcing new developments and service enhancements to its members.
