NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. adopts CargoSphere rate management and networking for greater control, cost savings and connected network collaboration

Chapel Hill, North Carolina, October 1, 2013 – CargoSphere, the leading, cloud-based global rate management solution and confidential rate mesh network for the ocean and air transportation and logistics industries, today announces that NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. (NNR USA) has taken freight rate management and networking in-house with the full implementation of the CargoSphere solution.  Previously, NNR USA outsourced rate management and FMC tariff filings to third party vendors.  With CargoSphere they are handling both functions internally at a lower cost and with greater operational control.  Established over 100 years ago, NNR USA’s parent company in Japan, NNR Global Logistics, is a global freight forwarding and logistics company with a global service network including 380 offices in the America’s, Greater Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia/Pacific.

NNR USA is currently managing nine ocean contracts using CargoSphere’s SUDS (Smart Upload and Diagnostic Solution), and plans to add air freight contracts Q1 2014.  They currently receive 47,700 ocean and air freight rates from seven sources via the CargoSphere Rate Mesh Network.  The Network is designed to easily expand as agent partners sign on to CargoSphere’s Mesh.
