NEW PLYMOUTH, Idaho, October 4, 2011— uDrove, the paper replacement management tool, announced today that Westpoint Transportation, Boise Idaho will use uDrove to help manage their incab paperwork.
“We are excited about moving forward with this innovative process; the uDrove application will eliminate a lot of paper and we will be more productive with our driver’s information right at our finger tips twenty four/seven.” Said Dan Fulkerson, general manager of Westpoint Transportation.
The fleet of 19 drivers will be using the iPad tablet to create their logs, track mileage, and capture images of expenses and documents. Meanwhile, the back office personal will be able to access all the in-cab paperwork in real time from their website account.
uDrove representatives were at Westpoint Transportation location to help with training.
“It was great to see 19 drivers with new iPads excited about no longer having to use paper logs. Each driver was using the uDrove application within ten minutes of training” said Juan Cardenas, National Sales Manager.
uDrove uses the functionality of a smart phone or tablet to provide a simple and easy to use tool keeping electronic driver logs, tracking mileage for tax purposes, recording fuel and business expenses, and completing DVIRs. In addition, it provides the corporate office real-time visibility to driver paperwork. For more information, visit www.uDrove.com
