The inbound shipping activity for the top 100 Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOs), measured in TEUs, decreased by nearly 25% from January to February. The drop comes after an 11.8% increase from December to January. Compared to February of 2011, inbound TEUs for the top NVOs decreased a slight 2%.

Expeditors, the top NVO on our list, posted a decrease of 10% from last February, while Apex Shipping, ranked third, posted a 24% increase. Mitsubishi Logistics America Corporation, ranked 34th, is one of the few NVOs that showed an increase from January. Overall, the largest NVOs had some of the largest decreases in February.
