The top 100 Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOs), measured in TEUs, decreased by 2.37% from May to June of this year, and by 6.42% from June of last year. The decrease in TEUs comes after a nearly 14% increase in May. Year-to-date, TEUs for all NVOs are up 5.52% from last year and up 46% from 2009 figures.
One of the few NVOs that posted significant positive figures and ranked eighth on our list, Seamaster Logistics managed to increase TEUs by 5% from May and by almost 20% from last June. Of the top 100 NVOs, about forty percent showed an increase in TEUs from May to June.
