The inbound shipping activity for the top 100 Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOs), measured in TEUs, increased by nearly 6% from April to May. May marks the third consecutive month of increased TEUs for the top 100 NVOs. Compared to last May, inbound TEUs increased by 5.17%.
A standout NVO this month is Expeditors, which is ranked number one on our list. The NVO increased inbound TEUs by 10.6% from April of this year, but posted a decrease of 4.6% from May of last year. Danmar Lines moved from the fifth to the third spot for May, in terms of inbound TEUs, and posted an increase of about 5% from April. Overall, Zepol’s list shows positive numbers for the majority of NVOs.
