August marked another strong month of activity for Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carriers (NVOs), with the top 100 NVOs transporting an average of 4.54% more TEUs in August than in July. Total TEUs carried by all NVOs in August 2010 grew by 4.48% over July 2010 and by 44.31% over August 2009.
Few of the top 100 NVOs posted negative growth from the previous year, while several saw growth over August 2009 of 20% or more. At number 36, Bdp Transport LLC (BOPT) showed some of the most impressive growth, up 44.72% over last month.
