Antwerp, Belgium and Parsippany, NJ, USA, February 22, 2010 - ECU-LINE, the Antwerp based leading NVOCC, has signed a pilot agreement with INTTRA, the leading e-commerce platform for the ocean freight industry, to become the first global NVOCC to receive shipping instructions from ECU-LINE's LCL shippers using the INTTRA ocean platform. Starting in March, the ECU LINE group will pilot the new INTTRA service with two of their major customers before rolling out the solution to their global accounts later this year.

The connection of ECU-LINE to INTTRA for LCL documentation is a milestone in the LCL industry and will enable all forwarders to gain the benefits of a seamless paperless documentation flow through INTTRA, using the same business process they currently use for their Full-Container-Load (FCL) business with ocean carriers.
