NYK Provides Aid to Victims of Flooding in Thailand

E-mail

October 25, 2011 - The NYK Group will donate about 3 million baht (about 7.5 million Japanese yen) and provide free ocean transport to assist recent victims of flooding in Thailand. Heavy rain since July has led to severe flooding in northern and central areas of the country.

The NYK Group established the NYK Group–JPF Joint Aid Supplies Transportation Projects with Japan Platform (JPF)* in 2004 to support the quick recovery of areas impacted by disasters. The free ocean transport will be arranged based on requests by JPF.

We offer our condolences to those in this area and our wishes for a quick recovery.
