ZIM to Increase Cooperation with CSCL on Asia-Europe Service

Zim has increased its slot charter agreement with CSCL on the Asia Europe Service, AEX1, to total 3,750 TEU's weekly. First Westbound sailing to apply the increased agreement is CSCL Le Havre ETA Ningbo October 18th, 2008.

This agreement is complimentary to the termination of Zim's independent EWX service.

During the 2nd half of 2009 Zim will commence its deployment of the newly built 8,200-10,000 TEU vessels on the trade between Asia and Europe.
