KCS’ Executives to Address Three Transportation Conferences in September

Kansas City, MO, September 1, 2009 – Kansas City Southern (KCS) (NYSE: KSU) executives will be addressing three transportation conferences in September.  Interested investors not attending the conferences may listen to the presentations via simultaneous webcasts on KCS’ website at www.kcsouthern.com.  Links to the replays will be available for 7 days following each event. 

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Michael Upchurch, will address the Dahlman Rose & Co. 2009 Global Transportation Conference at 3:00 p.m. eastern time on Wednesday September 9, 2009. 

Senior Vice President-Intermodal & Automotive, Brian Bowers, will address the Credit Suisse Automotive and Transportation Conference at 9:45 a.m. eastern time on Thursday September 10, 2009.

Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing, Patrick Ottensmeyer, will address the Morgan Keegan 2009 Industrial/Transportation Conference at 2:45 p.m. eastern time on Thursday September 17, 2009.
