Union Pacific Railroad Mobile Apps Provide Customers Flexibility to Trace and Release Equipment from Smartphones

 Omaha, Neb., December 14, 2011 – Union Pacific Railroad today announced that mobile versions of the company's Secured Equipment Trace and Equipment Release applications are available. The applications provide customers the flexibility to access information from smartphones and are available from any mobile web browser at m.uprr.com. A valid Union Pacific user ID and password are required.

 Union Pacific will release future mobile apps that provide fast and easy-to-use tools for meet customers' freight transportation needs.
