On the 28th and 29th January Interroll, in conjunction with Rulli Rulmeca, organised a special press conference dedicated to innovative solutions in logistics and dynamic storage. On the first day, a worldwide audience from the international press were shown the two impressive brand new Interroll developments: the new production machine for the Interroll product Carton Wheel Flow and the extended test centre at the Centre of Excellence in La Roche-sur-Yon.

Easily installed, tailored to conveyed load, and an almost endless service life are the distinct advantages of the newly launched Carton Flow solution. Particular features are the boltless bed and a unique wheel track, and it is the only model worldwide to have variable pitches between wheels within each track.

Provides complete peace of mind. The test centre in La Roche-sur-Yon will allow Interroll to guarantee that all its solutions comply with all necessary technical safety regulations. With this in mind, the test area has been increased from 400 m² to 800 m² while 3 new test machines and a cold room have also been installed.
 
The following day, the guests ware taken to the Eurospin distribution centre in San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona, Italy), which has been operating since June 2008. Jungheinrich was the general contractor and the supplier of the racking; Uteco Contec from Modena supplied the motorised conveyors, a pallet quality monitoring system and an automated transfer shuttle; Rulli Rulmeca and Interroll supplied the dynamic gravity lanes. These elements were then assembled by Domino Montaggi, a company specialising in this field.
